~ Lucy Hale
Personality: Lydia tends to be a happy person most of the time and is usually smiling. She’s usually nice to everyone but tends to be a loner and only has a handful of friends. She doesn’t like to talk that much but just sit in silence. Even though she’s a nice person, if you get her mad she will go after you and get revenge. She has always been smart for her age and tends to read a lot. Usually people can find her either in her room or the library reading or just being by herself. When she talking to people she tends to like being sarcastic though it can get her into trouble but she doesn’t mind one bit. Under her loneliness though she tends to be a girly girl at heart, an example is that her favorite color is pink and she likes wearing it a lot.
Hogwarts House/Year/Other Schooling: Ravenclaw from 1986 - 1993
Organization: She has not been appointed to anything but she tends to stick with the Order.
Occupation: Student teacher at Hogwarts.
Specialties: Transfiguration as always been her specialty even in classes. She excelled in them because she always loved being something else or changing something for the adventure of it.
History: Lydia was born on December 5th, 1975 to Mary Elle and John Locke Smith in the United States. After she was born Mary passed away from giving birth to her so Lydia was taken in by her father. When she was eight, Lydia and her father moved to London, England for his new job. Little did Lydia know that when weird things happened like blowing up a vase when she was mad was due to her wizarding powers. Her father didn’t know it but her mother was a witch so it was passed down to Lydia. When Lydia turned 11 she got her accepted letter to Hogwarts, A School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. Her father was dumbfounded but let her go anyways. She was sorted into the Ravenclaw house and even though she tended to stay by herself she made two best friends from the Gryfindor house and they were inseparable. She studied hard until she graduated though didn’t know what to do right away unlike some of her friends. She decided to take a year off and help her father with the house and hang out with friends. After the year was almost over she was bored and wanted to go back to Hogwarts. She wished she could go back and decided to write Dumbledore a letter. It asked if there were any teaching opportunities because she would love to help out. He wrote back and said there wasn’t any but he would still let her come back to help with any classrooms that needed help and any students that need help. She decided to take it and she went off leaving her father to himself.
Roleplaying Example – It was hot outside but Lydia was reading on the house porch anyways. She loved reading and always found it fun. There was barely a day when she never had a book in her hands, may it be a new book she never read or a book she read three times before. Her eyes kept scanning the pages while her mind was reading it. She then heard her friend’s voice from the next chair over pipe up saying, “Urgh! I’m so bored and it’s so hot outside Lyd! Let’s do something!”
Lydia sighed, put her book down, and replied with, “Well it’s 90 degrees out and I can’t change that. I’m not a weather witch.” And her and her friend giggled for a minute then she continued, “I guess we could go to the park and go under a tree. Maybe grab some ice cream.” Her friend liked the idea so Lydia went back inside her house to put her book away and grab her purse. She went to say goodbye to her dad but he wasn’t in his study. She decided to leave a note for him saying, “Went out with a few friends. Be back later tonight.” And went back outside to join her friend and have some fun. It was better than being stuck at home anyways.
